You may have heard that the ingredient TPO (trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide) has recently been b

anned in Switzerland and the EU. The substance was suspected of being harmful to health, which is why it can no longer be used in nail polish, shellac, and gels.

What does this mean for you?

Many classic nail polishes previously contained TPO. These products are now no longer permitted and are gradually disappearing from the market. This naturally raises questions: “Are my nails still safe? Which products are safe to use?”
